Knoxville (Tenn.) Deferred Compensation Committee rehired SageView Advisory Group as investment consultant, according to a March 22 award notice posted on the BidNet Direct procurement website.
The $62 million 457 plan's committee issued an RFP in January following the expiration of SageView’s original contract that began in 2019. The notice did not disclose whether there were any other finalists.
Prudential Financial was the incumbent record keeper at the time the search began, and the RFP said it was undergoing a transition to Empower Retirement, which was to be completed in February. Empower completed its acquisition of Prudential's retirement business in April 2022.
