Knoxville (Tenn.) City Employees' Pension Fund made two new private equity commitments totaling up to $29 million.
The $601 million pension fund committed up to $20 million (with an initial investment of $5 million) to Partners Group Private Equity II, an open-end private equity fund, and $9 million to Fort Washington Private Equity Investors X, a fund of funds managed by Fort Washington Investment Advisors, said Kristi Paczkowski, executive director.
As of June 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 4.2%; the target is 8%.
Investment consultant Marquette Associates assisted.
