Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System, Frankfort, disclosed two new commitments totaling up to $100 million.
The $23.9 billion pension fund disclosed commitments of $50 million each to Fort Washington Private Equity Opportunities V, a private equity fund of funds managed by Fort Washington Investment Advisors, and Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI, an infrastructure fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management, in materials for its Sept. 18 board meeting.
The pension fund has made multiple commitments to Fort Washington, most recently committing $50 million each to Fort Washington Private Equity Investors XI and Fort Washington Private Equity Small Market Investors II in 2021. There is no record of prior commitments to Macquarie funds.
As of June 30, the actual allocation to alternative investments was 8%; the target is 7%.
