Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System, Frankfort, disclosed two new commitments totaling $100 million.
The $26.1 billion pension fund committed $50 million each to Audax Strategic Capital Private Equity Solutions, a multistrategy private equity fund managed by Audax Group, and Carlyle Realty Partners X, an opportunistic real estate fund managed by Carlyle Group, according to an investment committee report included with June 17 board meeting materials.
The pension fund previously committed $50 million to Carlyle Europe Partners VI in 2023 and $50 million to Audax Private Equity Fund VI in 2018.
As of March 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to alternative investments was 8%, equal to its target.
