Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System, Frankfort, disclosed two commitments totaling up to $100 million to private equity funds of funds managed by Fort Washington Investment Advisors.
The $25.5 billion pension fund committed up to $50 million each to Fort Washington Private Equity Investors XI and Fort Washington Private Equity Small Market Investors II, confirmed Robert B. "Beau" Barnes, deputy executive secretary and general counsel, in an email.
The pension fund has made commitments to multiple Fort Washington funds, most recently committing up to $35 million to Fort Washington Private Equity Fund X in 2018.
As of Sept. 30, the actual allocation to alternative investments was 7.2%; the target is 7%.
