Kearney Financial Corp., Fairfield, N.J., hired Empower Retirement as the record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
Empower Retirement will replace Pentegra Retirement Services as record keeper on Nov. 21, according to an Oct. 30 8-K filing with the SEC.
The filing did not disclose the reason for the change.
A blackout period for participants will begin after 4 p.m. EST on Nov. 15 and is expected to end during the week of Dec. 18.
As of Dec. 31, the Kearney Bank Employees' Savings Plan had $53 million in assets, according to its latest 11-K filing with the SEC.
Officials at Kearney Financial could not be immediately reached for further information.
