Kansas Public Employees Retirement System, Topeka, is planning to launch a search for a record keeper for its $1.3 billion 457 plan in March 2023, spokeswoman Kristen Basso said in an email.
The retirement system is planning to issue an RFP around March 31 due to the upcoming expiration of current record keeper Empower Retirement's contract at the end of 2023, Ms. Basso said. The firm will be invited to rebid.
A specific timeline with due dates has yet to be determined, but Ms. Basso said the goal is to have a selection made in September 2023.
The retirement system posts RFPs on its website.
