Kansas City, Mo., rehired Nationwide Financial as record keeper for its $234 million 457 plan and $1 million 401(a) plan, pending finalization of the contract, said Barbara Davis, the city's retirement systems executive officer.
The city issued an RFP in February because of the impending expiration of Nationwide's contract on Sept. 30, Ms. Davis said at the time.
Empower Retirement was the other finalist.
