Janus Henderson Group PLC, London, added a target-date fund series managed by Fidelity Investments to Janus' 401(k) plan lineup in 2018, spokesman Taylor Smith said.
As of Dec. 31, the lineup of 10 Fidelity Freedom index mutual funds had combined assets of slightly more than $1 million in the plan, according to the June 26 filing.
The previous year's 11-K filing did not list any target-date fund lineup. The reason for the addition of the Fidelity funds could not be immediately learned.
As of Dec. 31, the Janus 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan had $299 million in assets, according to the filing. The plan as of that date had 46 investment options managed by Janus Henderson, seven options managed by Vanguard Group, and five managed by Fidelity Investments along with a Janus Henderson common stock fund and the new target-date fund lineup.
