Iowa Department of Administrative Services, Des Moines, is searching for service providers for the state's Retirement Investment Club, a voluntary retirement savings program consisting of a $1.2 billion 457 plan, $1.1 billion 403(b) plan and $388 million 401(a) plan.
The state agency is seeking firms to provide record keeping, custodial/trustee, communication and education and investment options services, according to the RFP posted on the department's website.
The providers for all three plans are AIG Retirement Services, Empower Retirement, Horace Mann and Voya Financial. The RFP does not disclose whether all the firms are eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on Aug. 17. A contract is scheduled to begin Jan. 1, 2023.
