Nationwide Mutual Funds hired Insight Investment as subadviser for its $1.1 billion Nationwide Core Plus Bond Fund.
The board of trustees of Nationwide Mutual Funds voted as its meeting Wednesday to hire the BNY Mellon Investment Management affiliate to replace Thompson Siegel & Walmsley as subadviser, effective Feb. 2, an SEC filing said Thursday.
As of Feb. 2, the fund will also be renamed the Nationwide BNY Mellon Core Plus Bond ESG Fund. The filing did not disclose the reason for the change or which ESG factors will be newly integrated into the fund.
