Independence, Mo., is searching for record keepers for its $49 million 457 plan and $1 million 401(a) plan, according an RFP posted on the Public Purchase procurement website.
The city is seeking firms to "provide record-keeping, administrative and compliance services" for the plans, according to the RFP. The current record keepers are ICMA-RC and Voya Financial; whether the firms are eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the Public Purchase website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. CDT on Oct. 4. A selection is expected Nov. 8.
Investment consultant Retirement Plan Advisors is assisting.
