Imperial County Employees' Retirement System, El Centro, Calif., committed $20 million to HarbourVest 2019 Global Fund, recently released board meeting minutes show.
The $866 million pension fund's board approved the commitment to the private equity fund of funds managed by HarbourVest Partners at its Aug. 21 meeting.
The pension fund previously committed $20 million to HarbourVest 2018 Global Fund.
As of June 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 3.5%; the target is 5%.
