Imperial County Employees' Retirement System, El Centro, Calif., committed $10 million to Sixth Street Partners Growth Fund II.
The $1.1 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the private credit fund at its Aug. 18 meeting. said Scott W. Jarvis, fund administrator.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private credit was 3.4%; the target is 5%.
Investment consultant Verus Advisory assisted.
