Investment Management Corp. of Ontario, Toronto, committed $250 million to Apollo Accord Fund III B.
The manager of small provincial pension funds and university funds closed the commitment to the private credit fund April 23, according to a news release Wednesday.
It is IMCO's first commitment to a fund managed by Apollo Global Management, the news release said. The manager recently launched a global credit program.
IMCO has C$70.3 billion ($49.8 billion) in assets under management.
IMCO spokeswoman Annette Robertson could not be immediately reached for further information.
