Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System, Springfield, is searching for a private equity consultant.
The $70.4 billion pension fund issued an RFP due to the expiration of current consultant StepStone Group’s contract later this year, according to an Aug. 7 news release.
The firm is invited to rebid, the news release said.
The pension fund allocates private equity commitments to its overall equity asset class, which had an actual allocation of 52.1% as of March 31.
The RFP is available on the pension fund’s website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. CDT on Sept. 4. A selection is expected on Dec. 13.
