Illinois State Universities Retirement System, Champaign, committed up to $100 million to Pantheon Global Infrastructure Fund V.
The $24.7 billion pension fund’s board approved the commitment to the core-plus infrastructure fund at its Sept. 13 meeting, according to a Sept. 18 news release.
SURS previously committed $100 million to Pantheon Global Infrastructure Fund IV in 2021.
As of July 31, the pension fund’s actual allocation to its stabilized growth asset class was 16.4%; its long-term strategic policy target is 17%. The asset class includes core real assets.
