Illinois State Treasurer's Office, Springfield, is searching for an investment consultant for the $86 million Illinois Secure Choice Savings Program.
The office issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of current consultant Marquette Associates’ contract, said Christopher Flynn, chief procurement officer for the treasurer’s office, in an email. The firm is eligible to rebid, Mr. Flynn said.
Ascensus is the program manager of the Illinois Secure Choice Savings Program, which is an auto-enrollment, payroll-deducted retirement savings account for certain private-sector employees whose employers do not offer retirement plans.
The RFP is available on the treasurer's office's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on June 22. A notice of award is scheduled for July 1.
