Idaho Public Employee Retirement System, Boise, approved the addition of an active emerging markets equity fund managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors and an active international equity fund managed by T. Rowe Price Group to the investment options lineup of the $1.4 billion PERSI Choice 401(k) plan.
The system's board approved the additions of the DFA Emerging Markets Core Equity Portfolio and T. Rowe Price Overseas Stock Fund at its Dec. 5 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
The board at the meeting also approved mapping eliminated investment options to the 401(k) plan's default investment alternative, the PERSI Total Return Fund, an asset allocation fund managed by Mellon Investments.
The minutes did not say which investment options would be eliminated. Currently, the plan offers both international equity and emerging markets equity as passive investment options. Mellon Investments is the manager of both funds.
