Idaho Public Employee Retirement System, Boise, committed $50 million to buyout fund Sorenson Capital Partners IV.
It is the $19.9 billion pension fund’s first commitment to a fund managed by Sorenson Capital, said Bob Maynard, chief investment officer, in an email.
As of Jan. 17, the actual allocation to private equity was 5.8%.
Private equity consultant Hamilton Lane assisted.
