Idaho Public Employee Retirement System, Boise, disclosed two private equity commitments totaling $125 million during the fourth quarter of 2024.
The $25.3 billion pension fund disclosed commitments of $85 million to KKR North America Fund XIV, a megacap buyout fund managed by KKR & Co., and $40 million to EPIC Ventures VII in a report from private equity consultant Hamilton Lane included with Dec. 16 board meeting materials.
The pension fund previously committed $55 million to KKR North America Fund XIII and $40 million to EPIC Ventures VI, both in 2021.
As of Dec. 10, the pension fund’s actual allocation to private equity was 7.4%; the target is 8%.
