City of Houston is searching for a bundled provider for its $1.2 billion 457 plan.
The city is conducting the search because the contract with the current provider will expire Dec. 31, according to an RFP on the city’s procurement website.
Wesley White, city procurement specialist, said the current provider is Empower Retirement and the firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the city’s procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. CDT on April 10. A selection is tentatively scheduled for sometime in August.
