Holyoke (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for managers to run $30 million in active core fixed income and $20 million in active international equities.
The $378 million pension fund has issued two RFPs for the portfolios, according to search notices on the website of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission.
According to the fixed-income notice, the pension fund is seeking an open-end liquid core fixed-income strategy, and according to the international equity notice, the pension fund is seeking a manager to run an international developed markets equity strategy that opportunistically invests no more than 30% of the overall strategy in emerging markets.
The notices did not provide further information on existing managers or whether they are invited to rebid. Anthony Dulude, executive director, did not respond to requests for further information.
The RFPs can be obtained by emailing Brian Green, senior institutional advisor at investment consultant Mariner Institutional, which is assisting with the searches.
Proposals for both searches will be due by 3 p.m. EDT on Oct. 4. Timelines for selections were not provided.
