Hollywood (Fla.) Police Officers’ Retirement System committed $8 million to Taurus Private Markets Fund III.
The $469 million pension fund’s board approved the commitment to the private equity fund of funds at its Dec. 20 meeting, recently released meeting minutes showed.
The pension fund previously committed $8 million to Taurus Private Markets Fund II in 2023.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund’s actual allocation to alternatives was 10.2%; the target is 8%.
