Hilton Head Island, S.C., rehired Empower Retirement as record keeper for its three defined contribution plans, according to an award notice posted on its website.
The town issued an RFP in July due to the pending expiration of Empower's contract, said Richard Groth, town procurement officer, at the time.
The town has two 401(k) plans and one 457 plan with $46 million in combined assets.
