Hawaii Employees' Retirement System, Honolulu, is searching for an actuarial consultant.
The $18 billion pension fund issued an RFP because of state procurement rules that require putting the services up for bid periodically, said Thomas Williams, executive director. Current consultant Gabriel Roeder Smith is eligible to rebid, he said.
The RFP is available on the state of Hawaii's procurement website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. HST on April 12. A selection is scheduled for June 1.
