Haverhill (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active domestic investment-grade fixed-income manager to run between $10 million and $15 million.
The $264 million pension fund issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of the contract of current manager Income Research & Management, said David Van Dam, administrator, in an email. The firm is eligible to rebid, Mr. Van Dam said.
The pension fund's target allocation to fixed income is 13.8%.
The RFP will be posted on Wainwright Investment Counsel's website. Wainwright is assisting with the search. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on March 6. Mr. Van Dam said the pension fund's board hopes to make a selection by April.
