Greene County Bancorp Inc., Catskill, N.Y., hired Empower Retirement as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
The hiring was disclosed in an 8-K filing on Oct. 18 with the SEC. Empower Retirement will replace Pentegra Retirement Services, according to the filing. A reason for the change was not provided.
A blackout period for participants will begin at 4 p.m. EST on Nov. 15 and end during the week of Dec. 18.
As of Dec. 31, the Bank of Greene County Employees' Savings & Profit Sharing Plan and Trust had $21 million in assets, according to its most recent 11-K filing.
