Goldman Sachs Group Inc., New York, hired Callan as investment consultant of its 401(k) plan.
The company hired Callan in 2019 as a result of the acquisition by Goldman Sachs Asset Management of Rocaton Investment Advisors, the plan's incumbent consultant, according to an 11-K filing Tuesday with the SEC.
The filing did not provide any further information on the reason for the change, which was effective in July.
As of Dec. 31, the Goldman Sachs 401(k) Plan had $8.5 billion in assets, according to the filing.
Goldman Sachs spokesman Patrick J. Scanlan could not immediately provide further information.
