Goldman Sachs Asset Management hired CenterSquare Investment Management as an underlying manager for its $864 million Goldman Sachs Multi-Manager Real Assets Strategy Fund, according to an SEC filing April 23.
The addition is effective immediately, according to the filing. CenterSquare joins Cohen & Steers Capital Management, Principal Real Estate Investors, PGIM Real Estate and RREEF America as an underlying manager for the fund.
Goldman Sachs Multi-Manager Real Assets Strategy Fund invests in any assets that have physical properties of inflation-sensitive characteristics, which includes commodities, energy, inflation-linked or floating-rate fixed-income securities and real estate, according to its prospectus.
CenterSquare manages publicly traded real estate for fund, but its percentage of the fund wasn't disclosed, according to the SEC filing.
