Glynn County Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Brunswick, Ga., has launched an RFP for investment management services.
The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County said in a notice on the county's website that proposals will be received at OpenGov until 1:30 pm ET on Sept. 13.
The board anticipates it will make a single contract award, however it reserves the right to make multiple awards in the best interest of the county. Such an award is expected to be completed within 90 days from the proposal opening.
Dwayne Pollock, director of human resources at Glynn County, confirmed that Bowen, Hanes & Co. is the current investment manager and they will be allowed to rebid.
Mr. Pollock also confirmed by email that Bowen, Hanes & Co.'s current contract expires at the end of this calendar year.
