Gilbert, Ariz., hired Nationwide Financial as bundled provider for its $40 million 457 plan, said Ernestine Tesarek, town contract specialist, in an email.
The town issued an RFP to consolidate with a single provider, Ms. Tesarek said at the time. Incumbent provider ICMA-RC was a finalist along with Empower Retirement and Voya Financial.
The other incumbents AIG Retirement Services and MassMutual Financial, also rebid for the services, Ms. Tesarek said.
Investment consultant Innovest Portfolio Solutions assisted.
