Fulton County, Atlanta, is searching for a bundled provider for its $122 million 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on the state of Georgia's procurement website.
The county issued the RFP for a firm to "provide an open architect investment platform, administration, record keeping, investment management, custodial services, participant enrollment, communications and education services," according to the RFP.
The current provider, TIAA-CREF, was hired in 2012 following the county's RFP process to move to a single bundled provider. The firm is eligible to rebid provided it waives redemption fees, withdrawal limitations, limitations on transfer of assets and market value adjustments or back-end fees on assets, the RFP said.
The RFP is available on the state of Georgia's procurement website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. EDT on Sept. 11. A decision is expected at the county board of commissioners meeting on Nov. 6.
Brian K. Jones, assistant purchasing agent for the county, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
