Franklin Regional Retirement System, Greenfield, Mass., is searching for an active domestic large-cap value equity manager to run about $10 million and an active domestic large-cap growth equity manager to run $8 million.
The $178 million pension fund has issued two RFPs due to Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission requirements to put services up for bid every seven years.
Current value manager O'Shaughnessy Asset Management and current growth manager Polen Capital Management are both eligible to rebid, said Kevin Condy, director of research at investment consultant Dahab Associates, in an email.
The value RFP and growth RFP are both available on the website of Dahab Associates, which is assisting with the searches. Proposals for both searches are due at noon EST on Jan. 20. The pension fund's board will likely make selections in the second quarter, Mr. Condy said.
