First Busey Corp., Urbana, Ill., added three index funds managed by Vanguard Group and an active international equity fund managed by Capital Group to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan.
The Vanguard 500 Index Fund, added during 2019, had $24 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, according to the company's June 26 11-K filing with the SEC. The plan also added the Vanguard Mid-Cap Index Fund Admiral Shares and Vanguard Small-Cap Index Fund Admiral Shares, each of which had fewer than $1 million in assets as of Dec. 31, according to the filing.
Capital Group's American Funds EuroPacific Growth Fund had $3 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31.
No funds were removed during 2019. The reason for the addition of the new funds was not provided in the 11-K filing.
As of Dec. 31, the First Busey Corp. Profit Sharing Plan and Trust had $186 million in assets, according to the 11-K filing. As of that same date, the plan had 15 individual investment options, a common stock fund and a target-date fund lineup managed by T. Rowe Price Group.
