Fairfax County Public Schools, Falls Church, Va., is searching for record keepers for its 403(b) plan and 457 plan.
The county issued an RFP because the contracts of the current record keepers will expire at the end of 2021, said Delphine Lambert, senior contract specialist in the school district's office of procurement services.
The current record keepers, AIG Retirement Services, Empower Retirement and TIAA-CREF, are all eligible to rebid, she said.
The 457 plan has $297 million in assets. Ms. Lambert would not provide other asset information.
The RFP is available on the school district's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on April 1. A contract is tentatively scheduled to be awarded Aug. 15.
