Fairfax County Educational Employees' Supplementary Retirement System, Falls Church, Va., disclosed three new commitments totaling $17 million at a recent board meeting.
The $3.1 billion pension fund's private markets consultant, Meketa Investment Group, disclosed the commitments in a presentation included with Jan. 26 board meeting materials.
According to the presentation, the pension fund committed $9 million to Focus Senior Housing Fund II, a value-added real estate fund managed by Focus Healthcare Partners; $5 million to buyout fund Wynnchurch Capital Partners VI; and $3 million to infrastructure fund Tiger Infrastructure Partners Fund IV.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocations to private equity, real estate and infrastructure were 10.4%, 8.8% and 1.9%, respectively; their respective long-term targets are 7%, 7% and 3%.
