El Paso (Texas) Firemen & Policemen's Pension Fund committed $15 million to Bernhard Capital Partners III.
The $2 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the buyout fund managed by Bernhard Capital Partners Management at its May 18 meeting, said Tyler Grossman, executive director, in an email.
The pension fund previously committed $8 million to Bernhard Capital Partners II in 2018.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 14.2%.
