East West Bancorp Inc., Pasadena, Calif., added the Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund and Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan.
The bank added the passive international equity fund and passive domestic fixed-income fund managed by Vanguard Group in 2022, according to a comparison of its June 23 11-K filing and last year's filing.
As of Dec. 31, the Vanguard funds had $12 million and $9 million, respectively, in assets in the plan, according to the new 11-K filing.
The comparison also shows the company removed the American Funds Fundamental Investors Fund from the lineup in 2022.
As of Dec. 31, 2021, the active domestic large-cap equity fund managed by Capital Group had $20 million in assets in the plan, according to last year's 11-K filing.
The new 11-K filing did not provide a reason for the changes.
As of Dec. 31, the East West Bank Employees 401(k) Savings Plan had $442 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
East West Bank officials could not be immediately reached for further information.
