East Bay Municipal Utility District, Oakland, Calif., rehired Hyas Group as investment consultant for its $429 million 401(k) plan, $151 million 457 plan and $68 million 401(a) plan.
The utility district issued an RFP in September and its board of directors on Feb. 8 approved the deferred compensation advisory committee's recommendation to rehire the firm, said Valerie Weekly, principal HR analyst, in an email.
According to meeting materials, a total of four firms submitted proposals and no other finalists were named.
The plan's record keeper is Fidelity Investments.
