Dukes County Contributory Retirement System, Edgartown, Mass., is searching for a passive domestic large-cap growth equity manager to run about $35 million.
The $250 million pension fund issued an RFP because it wants to replace terminated active domestic large-cap growth equity manager Polen Capital Management with a passive strategy, said Christopher Mills, senior research analyst at investment consultant Dahab Associates, which is assisting with the search.
Polen Capital was terminated due to underperformance, Mills said. A spokesperson at Polen declined to comment.
The RFP is available on Dahab Associates’ website. Proposals are due by noon EST on Feb. 26. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
