Dukes County Contributory Retirement System, Vineyard Haven, Mass., is searching for a large-cap growth equity manager to run about $25 million.
Dahab Associates, investment consultant for the $170 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
Managers of both active and passive strategies are welcome to submit proposals.
The search is being conducted because the pension fund's contract with its current manager, Polen Capital Management, is expiring soon, said Christopher Mills, research analyst at Dahab. Polen is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due at noon EDT on Oct. 29. A time frame for selecting a manager has not yet been established.
