Denver Water is seeking custody and related services for its $427 million defined benefit plan.
Service providers must have had at least $25 billion in assets under custody as of Sept. 30 to be considered.
Northern Trust Corp. is the plan's current custodian and its contract is set to expire. Information on whether the company will be submitting a bid was not available.
The RFP is available on the BidNet Direct procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due 2 p.m. MST March 5. Although a selection date was not disclosed, the pension fund's contract with its current custodian is set to expire June 30.
Jacob Christensen, purchasing agent, referred questions to Denver Water's evaluation team, which did not immediately provide additional information.
