Delaware Public Employees' Retirement System, Dover, committed up to $40 million to Lightstone Ventures III.
The $12.6 billion pension fund's investment committee approved the commitment to the venture capital fund at its Dec. 15 meeting, according to board meeting minutes.
The pension fund previously committed $40 million to Lightstone Ventures II in 2016.
As of June 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to alternative investments was 23%.
