Davie Police Officers' Pension Plan, Sunrise, Fla., is searching for an active domestic large-cap value equity manager to run $15 million.
The $188 million pension fund issued an RFP to "see what's out there," said Kevin Condy, director of research at Dahab Associates, the pension fund's investment consultant, which is assisting with the search.
The current manager, Lyrical Asset Management, is invited to rebid, Mr. Condy said.
As of Dec. 31, the actual allocation to domestic large-cap equities was 30.7%; the target is 30%.
The RFP is available on Dahab Associates' website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on March 16. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
