Danvers (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a domestic large-cap value equity manager to run $6 million, confirmed Susan M. Little, retirement manager for the $115 million defined benefit plan, in an email. The strategy must be benchmarked to the Russell 1000 Value index.
Graystone Consulting, the plan's investment consultant, is assisting.

Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT Sept. 5. A decision is expected no later than Nov. 30.
Ms. Little did not immediately disclose the reason for the search or if there is an incumbent manager.
