Danvers (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for managers to run $16 million in a Russell 1000 Growth index fund portfolio and $12 million in an S&P 500 index fund portfolio.
The $157 million pension fund is seeking proposals from managers that offer those strategies in either commingled funds or institutional mutual funds only, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP does not disclose the reason for the RFP or whether existing managers are eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on Segal Marco's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on Sept. 13. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
