Danvers (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a U.S. small-cap value equities manager to run $9 million on behalf of the $143 million defined benefit plan.
Graystone Consulting, the retirement system's investment consultant, is assisting with the search.
The strategy will be benchmarked against the Russell 2000 Value index. Only separate accounts will be accepted. Commingled funds or ETFs will not be considered.
The RFP is available from Susan M. Little, retirement assistant, via email. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT July 20. The board anticipates awarding a contract by Oct. 29.
