CRH Americas Inc., Atlanta, added five passive investment options managed by Fidelity Investments to its 401(k) plan lineup in 2018, the company disclosed in an 11-K filing with the SEC.
The plan added the Fidelity 500 Index Fund, Fidelity Mid Cap Index Fund, Fidelity Small Cap Index Fund, Fidelity U.S. Bond Index Fund and Fidelity Global ex-U.S. Index Fund, according to the July 2 filing.
The funds had respective assets of $158 million, $51 million, $44 million, $22 million and $1 million in the plan as of Dec. 31, according to the filing.
Also during 2018, the plan removed four passive investment options managed by Vanguard Group: the Vanguard Institutional Index Fund, Vanguard Mid-Cap Index Institutional Fund, Vanguard Small-Cap Index Institutional Fund and Vanguard Total Bond Market Fund.
Those funds had respective assets of $188 million, $66 million, $52 million and $26 million in the plan as of Dec. 31, 2017, according to the company's previous 11-K filing.
The reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the CRH Americas 401(k) Plan had $2.6 billion in assets, according to the new 11-K filing. As of that same date, the plan had 17 investment options, a common stock fund, a self-directed brokerage account and a target-date fund lineup managed by Fidelity Institutional Asset Management.
