Town of Orange, Conn., is searching for a record keeper for its 401(a) plan and two 457 plans.
The town launched a search because it wants to consolidate to a single record keeper for the plans, according to an RFP posted on the town's website.
The current record keepers are MissionSquare Retirement and Mutual of America Financial Group. The RFP does not say whether the firms are eligible to rebid.
The town's 401(a) plan has $26 million in assets and the two 457 plans have a combined $2 million in assets.
The RFP is available on the town's website. Proposals are due April 8. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
Scott Boulton, consultant at Fiducient Advisors, the town's investment consultant, which is assisting with the search, could not be immediately reached for further information.
